Queen of Soul

Peace and blessings.  Hope you have been good out there.  Congrats USC Baseball for kicking off this new season in great fashion. Hope your Black History Month was well; personally it was fantastic.  2011 is upon us and the music keeps rolling on. Last issue we covered a few Black History musical facts.  Today we’ll look back at one of the greatest entertainers before we ‘spring ahead’ in celebration of Women’s History Month.  Let’s get it.
Aretha Franklin has been titled every moniker someone of her talent and blessings deserves.  From the ‘Queen of Soul’, the ‘incomparable one’, to ‘God’s gift’, and simply the ‘great’; Aretha Franklin has done more in her career than most can comprehend.
